Rachel Brennan appointed Company Secretary of Women Veterans Australia Board
Rachel Brennan, Account Director - Nuclear & Industry
Sovereign Capability Group is pleased to recognise the appointment of Rachel Brennan, a member of the UBH Group team, as Company Secretary to the Board of Women Veterans Australia (WVA).
The role is voluntary and non-executive, supporting the Chair and Board in the areas of board strategy, governance, risk and compliance. Rachel brings to the position a strong professional foundation, including the recent completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) course. The appointment reflects the breadth of capability within the Sovereign Capability Group.
Women Veterans Australia is a national organisation dedicated to advocating for and supporting women who have served in the Australian Defence Force. Rachel's involvement at Board level is both personally meaningful and aligned with the values that underpin our approach to service, leadership and sovereign capability.
Her appointment also speaks to the broader progress being made across the defence sector, where women are increasingly serving in governance and leadership roles, enriching both the industry and the institutions that support those who have served.
Sovereign Capability Group congratulates Rachel on this recognition and looks forward to seeing the contribution she will make to Women Veterans Australia.
